Online marketing consultant Bonnie Minor recently hit the one-year mark working for WordJack Media. We sat down with Bonnie for a few minutes to find out all the high points of her experience with the company so far.
Congratulations on clocking up a full year with WordJack! What has been your highlight?
I’ve enjoyed seeing the success our clients are achieving through online marketing. For example, Queen’s Landing now sees almost a third more new visits to their website each day since seeking help from WordJack, and Climate Control Systems couldn’t be found anywhere on the internet before they started working with us, but now they're everywhere.
What attracted you to join WordJack initially?
We are service, not a product, and we are doing what is best for our clients. I love doing my part to make sure our clients are winning on the web.
How do you explain WordJack to a person for the first time?
WordJack is a solution to your frustrations with online marketing.
Tell us what a digital marketing consultant does at WordJack.
A lot! I network with, consult with, and advise business owners. I also teach online marketing seminars for local small and medium-size businesses. I do lots of research to stay updated on all the new online marketing trends, products, and statistics, so I can better help our current customers and gain new ones.
What sort of social media marketing are your customers already doing when they sign up for WordJack?
Most companies seem to be using Facebook and a little bit of Twitter, but a lot of people don't understand Twitter. Almost no one is doing anything with Google +. LinkedIn seems to be somewhat popular, and Pinterest is starting to gain more traction, as well.
What part of what we're doing at WordJack excites you the most?
I love seeing our clients succeed and get an increase in business because of proper online marketing. For example, one of our companies saw a $20,000 revenue increase in their first quarter after starting work with WordJack, and one of our plumbing companies had to hire a new tech to keep up with all the new customers. I really enjoy reading and sharing our clients’ testimonials about how we’ve helped them become winners on the web.
