3 steps to begin your search for a great web agency

Finding a Web Agency should be fairly easy.  There are literally thousands of them out there.  You need to find the one that will do the job you need done and will work with you to resolve any problems and stay with you through any rough spots.  That’s the sticking point.  So, let’s begin our search.  3 key steps that should be part of any search:

1. Talk with any of your friends or partners that do have websites and have used an agency doing any part of the development of those websites.  Ask them who they use and contact that site.  Do your homework and know about them before you get a hold of them.
2. Do a simple search using the keyword “web agency” (or even search for "web agency" on google maps in your city) and take a look at the top 5 – 8 sites that are presented.  You want to make certain that you look at the top several sites because you really only want an agency that can get and stay on top of the list so you know they can do it!
3. Look at some of the websites that are in competition with you.  Look all over the site, you should find a notation listing who it is that created that web site.  There might even be a link to their site.  If the site is one that you would be proud to present to your potential visitors, give that company a call and start the conversation.  

These steps are some very basic steps to take to find a Web Agency, and of course these are only the beginning!
